The backhaul-agnostic Moovbox F220 supports two embedded modems in PCI express mini card supporting 2G, 3G and 4G cellular wide area networks (WANs) including HSPA, EV-DO, and WiMAX. These modems operate in tandem providing concurrent backhaul connections that can be configured for failover between different carriers, for independent connections dedicated to Ethernet and Wi-Fi interfaces respectively, or in a load balancing configuration. Both Ethernet and Wi-Fi interfaces can be configured as backhaul offering support for many 3rd party CPEs. The Moovbox modular WAN approach provides an in-field upgrade path to future WAN technologies without the need to change the Moovbox hardware.

The Moovbox F220 offers mobile carriers, Internet service providers, systems integrators and public safety organisations a simplified way to deploy campus or city-wide wireless clouds for Internet access from any Wi-Fi device. Furthermore, it simultaneously delivers Ethernet connectivity enabling devices such as IP CCTV cameras and other IP devices to be connected securely to the Internet indoor and out. Ideal for municipal Wi-Fi hotzones, temporary hotspots, and public safety applications, the weatherproof Moovbox F220 makes it simple to deploy secure Internet connectivity where wireline broadband such as DSL or mesh alternatives are not practical.
